Many dry shampoos do not actually clean hair. They soak up oils, but in their place leave powders and residue. That’s not clean hair — that’s just dirty hair in disguise. In 2015, Living Proof set out to change that: We launched our Living Proof Perfect hair Day™ Dry Shampoo that’s formulated to actually clean hair, eliminating oil, sweat and odor. Since then, we’ve added Living Proof Perfect hair Day™ Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo to our offerings — it doesn’t just clean hair, it also cares for it as well, adding softness, manageability, and shine. It’s formulated to mimic the cleaning process and care benefits of a rinse-out shampoo, but without the shower.

The cleaning process is simple:

Many dry shampoos soak up oils and in their place leave powders that are difficult to remove, thus leaving a visible white and textured residue on your hair. However, with our dry shampoos, white residue that’s easy to remove is normal and expected — especially if you have dark hair. The white residue highlights where you’ll need to shake out powders, while the powder removal system works to leave behind no visible or textured residue after shaking or combing out your hair.
