While No Frizz was a tremendous scientific breakthrough in the hair and beauty industry, we feel like we have a lot more up our sleeve when it comes to giving you the perfect hair and look you desire.
Today was a very big day for our discovery team. After a year of analysis and research in the laboratory, we have tested our next breakthrough technology for the first time today in our Research Salon. While we can’t reveal exactly what we’re testing, we want to give you an inside look at our operation.
What we typically do for what we call “First on Head” is test our new technology on half of a model’s head and the same formulation without the technology on the other half – we call this the placebo. This gives us a good feel (pun intended) for the technology’s potential. While we were all eager to see how this new technology worked out, it was a very important step for one of our scientists (Lorna) in particular. She has worked on this specific technology from its inception and so it was an incredibly special moment for her to see the results. In fact, even though she is currently half way around the world on a small island in the Indian Ocean, she made sure to Skype in to watch the technology she has worked on take its form via webcam.
And as for the results…well let me say we are off to a really great start. That’s all we can say right now. Can anyone guess what Lorna might be working on?

I would love a product that would shorten the time it takes to blow dry my wavy/curly hair with a diffuser. There used to be a a product out there with silicone (yuck) but it did cut the dry time down over half. Will Living Proof be the one company to permanently shorten dry time?
Another idea? The “pump bar” where Living Proof makes a base styling product and then, based on the features you want in your ultimate product, you pump (or a Sephora tech if necessary) the different things you want (i.e., have wavy, want straight, frizz control, detangling but not hold) and, ouila, your very own Living Proof custom potion.
I just learned about you this week and tried your product yesterday and I am hooked on the no frizz cremes. Impressive. I wish my mom were alive today to see something decent for the rats nest my hair can become after one night sleep.
This is going to be big!!! Can’t wait to grab it from the shelves of Sephora.

A finishing product?! One to add hold and control flyaways and to provide for restyling of second/third/fourth day hair?

…A product that helps with volume?
