Great question, Karen. We do suggest blow drying with a round brush as a general tip when you are trying to add volume to your look, but that’s not necessary in order to achieve results with Full. Just apply to wet hair (about a pea-sized amount for you), and then run your fingers through your hair as it’s drying. You can continue to run your fingers through after it has dried completely to further enhance your results as well. Please report back with your results!

  2. Karen says:

I just purchased the Full Thickening Cream, and noticed in the directions, that you have to blow dry with round brush in order, for your product to work. !st of all, I don’t blow dry my hair, and 2nd, my hair is too short to go around a round brush. I just want my baby fine hair to look thicker. Did I purchase the wrong product ? Please advise. Thank you very much, Karen

I am new user and very pleased with results. I have very fine, thin and thinning hair. However, can you please do something with the scent?! It reminds me of dry cleaning fluid. I expect it will eventually dissipate but it is really awful.

I would like to get advise on what I did wrong. Last week I had a perm which made my hair turned dry and frizzy. Immediately went to Sophora to get advice. The clerk recommended the Frizz Styling Spray, Frizz shampoo and conditioner. I followed the directions on bottles, let my hair air dry, and waited. My hair looked great until it’s dry. (My hair is fine and highlighted.) None of the products worked to soften the frizziness. HELP!

  7. I NEED A PRODUCT THAT WILL HALT HAIR BREAKAGE IN WEAK OR COLOR TREATED HAIR.

  8. Keisha Woods says:

I would love to see a Living proof product with a gel consistency for finishing the edges. Sometimes you need something just a little tackier to lay down the unruly curls around your face or at the nape of the neck when pulling your hair into a pony tail.

  9. A says:

A product to help define and hold curls (several days) created by roller set. One that doesn’t friz or make hair feel crunchy. During the summer I air dry and during winter I use a hood dryer. Thank you.

  10. Sarah says:

I tried to post my comment on the page for feedback on No Frizz but somehow that didnt work so i’ll write here.

I have bleached wavy hair that is extremely dry and damaged. Its my own fault for wanting it to be this light and thus bleaching it all the time though. Thus my hair needs a lot of care. I have been using the Loreal serie expert line and so far it was the best that I had tried. However, it was so annoying that i would blow dry plus straighten my hair taking up a long long time every morning only to step outside to find my hair frizzy and in a mess. i live in europe and nearly every day the sky is cloudy or it rains.

then i heard of living proof in a magazine and decided to get a friend to send it to me from the US. because i know the state that my hair is in i immediately went for the straight making treatment for coarse hair. initially i didnt notice a big difference but after about a week i was totally convinced this product was working wonders for me!! i was extremely happy about this invention!!

i have since got two more bottles from my friend but unfortunately only the medium strength treatment which doesnt work as well for me so i do get some frizz. also, because of shipping and handling etc one of these little 4oz bottles costs me a fortune, about 30 euro which is about 42 dollar!! (of course this is not living proofs fault though)

i am a full time student so this is an extremely hefty price for me, for a bottle that lasts only a few applications – in the videos, the cream is used very very generously and the little bottles just contain way too little product in my opinion, they are more suited to be travel size! i am waiting impatiently for the introduction of the products to europe in spring, which i hope will be soon. living proof team, please hurry up!! we need this product in europe!! :)

what i was wondering though was especially for those with very damaged and dry hair, what can i do to get my hair shinier and to reduce breakage? should i use more product? or could you invent something especially for those bleached blondes amongst us which have so far had to deal with so many problems that this hair color has created? sth that leaves hair nourished and soft and very very shiny, please!! sth that kind of repairs the hair or coats it really really well!? i think us blondes are the ones with the worst hair if left untreated, so help us pls with an extra extra extra strength product!!

and yea, please introduce LARGE bottles in europe for an ok price. i couldnt afford to pay 24 dollars (the regular price of the product) twice each month only for ONE of my hair products!!!

otherwise, well done and keep inventing!! i think ure doing an amazing job!!!!

  11. The Living Proof Team says:

Thanks so much for purchasing! Our products wash out with any surfactant/shampoo, so you can absolutely use your favorite one with No Frizz.

Color treated hair is so tough. Consider it on the list. All the best and enjoy your No Frizz. Rob, CEO

  13. Elizabeth O. says:

Hi, Living Proof! I’ve been using No Frizz for about 10 months now, and have loved how it tames my frizz and flyaways during every season! However, I’d love to have a product that I could with the current No Frizz system that could protect and help keep my color-treated hair bright and colorful. With light blonde highlights and red lowlights in my hair, it’s hard to find a product or system of products that can keep my blonde highlights from being brassy/chlorinated, while still keeping my red streaks from washing out. Please help my multi-dimensional hair!

  14. Cindy says:

Here’s a few things that I definitely would like.

    1) Something to prevent color from fading.
    2) Root lift
    3) Hairspray or some kind of extra hold product, so that when I sleep on it, I don’t wake up looking like I stuck my finger in an electrical outlet or if it does, I can comb it out and it will still look good
    4) Some kind of root coverage in between coloring that doesn’t wash out immediately the next tme you wash your hair. Something that will last for a few days.
    5) Combination NoFrizz and Thickening product for fine hair
    6) Miracle product to make fine, straight hair look like it’s got waves or curls occasionally :)

    Thanks.

    Hi Pamela,

Stay tuned for the launch of our 2nd technological breakthrough – Full Thickening Cream. Full makes fine, thin, limp hair look and behave like fuller, thicker hair. Sign up right here on http://www.livingproof.com and we’ll inform you as soon as it’s available.

  16. Pamela says:

I have tried most all your products, liked them all.I have thin hair, and seems to be getting thinner with age.Hope you will be working on something to help this problem. You see all kinds of products on the internet for this problem, but afraid to buy. Will be looking forward to any new products.

  17. carrie says:

I would love a solution for thinning hair. There are so many sites on the Internet but I’m affraid to buy from a random company I know nothing about. And this is something that doctors just don’t seem to care about. For a woman, thinning hair is tragic! So after you take medication for health problems that cause hair loss and get no results, what do you do? I’m recovering from thyroid cancer and my thyroid levels are back to normal but my hair is still very thin. I have to avoid certain hair styles that show my scalp. It’s a bit depressing. I’m taking 5000 mcg of Biotin and use men’s rogain (women’s isn’t as strong) and still no luck.

  18. Amy Schectman says:

i am wondering about animal testing on your products, and if there are any harmful chemicals used. I think the product works great, but it has a smell i am not crazy about. (i usually use herbal shampoos and am not used to the chemically smell.) i got your product in a free sample, and am pleased with it, but would like to know more about it. The ingredients were not listed on the sample and i would like to know what they are. Thanks for any info, Amy

My 8 year old grandaughter has been through two separate rounds of chemotherapy for cancer and her hair is baby fine and terribly thin—is there a product that will increase the volume of her hair and make it thicker—the kids tease her and tell her she looks like a boy!!

  21. anney says:

well world peace would be the greatest gift of beauty however I would settle for CC a hair dye without those chemicals!

  22. anne says:

My request is for JUMBO sizes of your products! I love your them so much that I go through them in a hurry!!! I have long hair so I have to use more product than most people do… One of the Sephora employees that helped me said that she has people ask her daily if you are coming out with larger bottles! I guess I’m not the only one going through a bottle every 2 weeks!

  23. The Living Proof Team says:

Great idea! Consider it on our list.

  24. APari says:

A no frizz product for people that do not use heat of any kind on their hair. I would LOVE that

  26. CC says:

Product wish: A base coat for the face that can be used by itself, without foundation over it. It would have these qualities:
-high-spf sunscreen that lasts all day
-improves the look of skin, perhaps by absorbing oil and mattifying it and camoflauging wrinkles, maybe by diffusing light, but without giving skin a shimmery look.
    -unscented
-repels dirt like No Frizz does

    Other wish:
-A hair dye that covers gray without using ammonia or peroxide. It could be like a leave-in conditioner or styler that you just comb in every week or so.

    Thanks!

  27. Joanne N says:

Oh my gosh! Do I have a project for you guys…….how about making a 60 something look like a 50 something (okay a 40 something on a bad day)………why not invent (come on you have the ability) to knock out wrinkles and prevent the new ones from coming back. No matter what product I use……eye cream, lip cream, face cream………I’m not sure I’m winning the battle. Give me the samples…I will try them!

Still loving Living Proof……..why not ANTI AGING PROOF……for oldies who don’t want to go under the knife!!!!!

  28. Margot says:

Firstly, I love No Frizz. Thank you so much! One thing though – when will we get this amazing stuff in the UK? I’ve had to hound friends in the US to buy it for me, I hope they won’t lose patience soon…

    Suggestions:

I live in London where the water is VERY hard, and I have been on the hunt for a water-softening and buildup-removing shampoo/conditioner for coarse, dry hair (the current ones on the market leave my hair even dryer than the water does).

As far as cosmetic and skincare products, I have to go with some of the ladies above when it comes to pore-minimising potions. At the moment, everything out there is either alcohol or silicone-based, and it doesn’t feel great, especially on combination skin, causing it to get “peely”. Most of them wear off pretty fast too.

I know this is a long shot, but Iwould also love to see a Living Proof foundation. As I mentioned, I have combination skin and nothing seems to fit both aspects of it – foundation (I have tried everything from boutique brands to big specialised brands and drugstore brands) either gets cakey and powdery, or oily and shiny. I suppose I’m lucky that I don’t need to wear it all the time, though I would certainly like it to be more natural when I do, and I know plenty of people who agree!

Increase catalase production and repair melanocytes.

  30. Kirby says:

Would you consider a finding a cure for Keratosis Pilaris? Keratosis Pilaris affects an estimated 40-50% of adults and approximately 50-80% of all adolescents. ALL. That is a large number of self conscious boys and girls who then grow up not feeling good about the skin they are in. I think starting all of us off with a positive self image is a great way to reduce long term beauty concerns.

Thanks for considering – or let me know if you are aware of something that really works!

Help! I’m turning 58 in July. I have survived breast cancer and am so grateful. But, today, shopping on 5th Avenue, I am crushed. Looking for prettly little summer dresses. The dressing room mirrors are harsh – my arms, my upper legs – CELLULITE. Yes, my Mother had it, but I never thought I would. I’m only 5′ 2″ and okay, a bit overweight for my height at 125 – for 58, that’s not bad I think. I’m fairly active, eat well, but cannot wear sleveless tops w/out a little cover up to the elbow. I am reduced to tears to see this degeneration. Tried E. Arden Prevage-so far not working at all. There has to be a cure for this. I’m excited to try your hair products and for some reason I have every confidence that they will work. But an older woman’s greatest sorrow is seeing her skin and body just seeming to go to mush. This is my wish! Thanks for considering my request.

My Beauty Wishes: I would LOVE a product that removes the curl from the hair without harsh chemicals. I want to be able to swim or walk in the rain and have straight hair. Also a product that gives hair a terrific shine. If I can have THREE wishes – How about a product that reverses sun damage and removes wrinkles.

  36. robrobceo says:

I love these two ideas. I have always worked in Cosmetics and there are big opportunities to do some really cool, new things that do what they say. Consider them both on the list.

  38. Maria says:

How about a simple nail product that really can be applied to nails and you get no chips for at least 10 days – I know that a lot of compnaies advertise they can doit but….not true!!!

  39. End the Frizz says:

Hi Laurie- You should not have an issue with No Frizz building up. No Frizz actually repels dirt and oil so you can go longer between shampoos or in your case “no-poos”. But please, let us know how it goes so we can spread the word to other “curly-girls” like yourself. Thanks for the comment!

  40. Laurie says:

I do not use shampoo (I follow the curly-girl method) Will no frizz build up? Will it clog up my scalp? I WANT to believe! I have worked so hard to get my hair and scalp healthy…sigh… Thank you for your reply!

  41. End the Frizz says:

    Hi Leah,

Thanks for your request. Look for No Frizz Shampoo & Conditioner coming out this Fall! In the meantime, stick to sulfate-free shampoo!

  42. lala says:

My hair is really fine and fragile because I have highlights. I’ve also got some active oil production going on. I have to wash my hair everyday or it looks absolutely flat, greasy, and lifeless. But all this washing is just making my hair more fried–I have to be cautious with conditioners because they usually weigh down my hair and shorten how much time I have until I’m a grease monster again. I’ve seen those dry shampoos but I gotta tell you, I am terrified of them. I know I would end up looking like I’ve got flour stuck to my scalp.

Can Living Proof please make a shampoo that doesn’t strip my baby-fine hair and slows down my oil glands so I can go more than 24 hours without washing? THANKS!

  43. Michelle says:

I would like an anti-aging cream that erases existing wrinkles and prevents new ones. You guys found an amazing alternative to silicone – how about an alternative to retinol?

  44. robrobceo says:

Great idea! Consider it on the list.

  45. Lorraine Swartz says:

I would like to see a conditioning, non-drying, frizz controlling spray-in product to revitilize curls on the days between shampoos!!!

  46. Anna says:

My vote is for: shampoo, deep conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and especially a curl enhancer (and a straightening product). I’m with Colleen…it’s time for a revolutionary foundation/skin primer on the level of No Frizz. And how about a line of skin care products? Thanks Living Proof!

  47. ruby says:

When I wish upon a star, I wish for wash and wear hair – and options! So, here is what I want: a product that confers an enduring set, be it straight, wavy or curly. Once set it stays that way until I change it or it grows out. That means I wash it and it bounces right back. To be viable it has to be good for my hair, affordable and easy to use. For summer I can have wavy hair, winter straight, and spring curls! Please? I want to walk in the rain without fear.

  48. ruby says:

Wait, I’m still on the hair thing. I want wash and wear hair. All my life I’ve struggled with truly uncontrollable, unattractive hair. I dream of a Star Trekkie kind of fix that allows me to ’set’ my hair and then have that set come back instantly after washing until I change it again. So, if this month I want curly hair (nice curls, not the ugly mass I have now) this month, I have it and if I want straight or wavy hair next month I just change the ’set’. And by the way, if I’m dreaming, I want the process to be good for my hair. And is there anything you can do to make my hair dry faster? I have REALLY thick hair and even if I don’t have so much frizz, it takes hours to go from wash to wear. Ugh. There’s too much going on in life, I don’t want to spend all of it working on making my hair presentable. And I want to walk in the rain or swim or whatever with abandon – the kind of abondon straight haired girls have. Please?

  49. stacie says:

I’m with Colleen—-big pores are the pits (no pun intended) :)

A nice primer or different foundation product formulations would be wonderful.

Also, a face powder for older skin. I have fine lines and enlarged pores, and I love the ease of using a powder. I have searched high and low for the perfect powder. I’ve found a few that come close, but none completely fit the bill.

Thanks for No Frizz and I look forward to more products from your inventive minds.

    Stacie

  50. Colleen says:

I absolutely love Living Proof and your No Frizz product. I’m not sure if you’ll be branching out into other areas of beauty products, but if so, may I suggest a beauty concern of mine and many others that needs fixing? … Enlarged pores that absorb makeup, debris and environmental toxins throughout the day.

Since you’ve been able to develop a product as amazing as No Frizz (which fills in holes in the hair shaft & enables hair to repel humidity), many cosmetic connoisseurs would love if you invented a product that held beneficial products in the pores while sealing out the bad stuff! There are many foundation primers on the market that promise to do just that – but few of them do much at all except clog pores.

After much experience, I’ve discovered that most hair products on the market – or most beauty products in general – don’t deliver what they promise. What makes Living Proof different is that they DO deliver what they promise! I will happily try, and probably love, any other products you create. Happy inventing!
