We like to refer to these two products as a labor of love for our scientists. When we first started introducing the No Frizz styling products to the press and to retailers out there, they kept saying – why don’t you have a shampoo & conditioner? Then as all you fans out there learned how great the styling products were you too kept asking – why don’t you have a shampoo & conditioner?

The answer was quite simple. We didn’t want to launch just any old shampoo & conditioner, we wanted it to be as revolutionary as our styling products. We wanted you to be blown away again. Some might say not easy with a shampoo & conditioner.

Well after a year in development, we got there. A shampoo & conditioner that is high performance without the use of sulfates or silicones. Both contain high levels of our proprietary anti-frizz active, PolyFluoroEster, which deposit during the washing process. So you get extraordinary humidity resistance (don’t we all need that right now) and because the products resist dirt and oil so you can actually wash less – isn’t that great.

So please enjoy the system and let us know as soon as you can what you think!

We’re so happy to hear about your hair miracle :)

As far as your question regarding the caps, we have recognized that there is an issue with our caps, and have re-engineered them for the next production run. You can look for them to come on the market within the next few months (if you’ll notice, the caps of our new Full Thickening Cream have already taken the new form)!

  2. Ellen says:

After 54 years of living with bad hair (which is now graying bad hair that no coloring product can conquer) I wasn’t expecting miracles and I didn’t get miracles. However, I did get noticeable improvement. I use the shampoo and regular conditioner and the wave/thick hair cream. I air dry my hair. While it is drying it feels sticky but after it is dry there is no stickiness at all. It seems a bit clumpy and weighed down when fully dry. A quick brushing fixes that. So I’ll never have good hair but at least this controls the frizz and makes it smoother and even a little bit shiny. Now that I think of it, I did get a miracle.

My question is this – on Sephora, lots of people complained about the tops breaking off at the hinges. Mine are the same. Surely you have noticed this and should be taking measures to improve the bottles? For this kind of money I shouldn’t have the caps breaking. Then you can’t travel with them.

Hi, love the no frizz styling creme which a friend kindly brought back from the US for me (I live in the UK near London). But could you tell me whether the product washes out with regular shampoos? I use a shampoo for coloured hair which I am happy with. However, I am worried about build up of the product, and whether this might affect the end result. I’d love to hear your comments.

  4. Christine says:

Love the shampoo and conditioner. Just a tiny amount of both cleans and leaves my hair silky soft. It is awesom.

  5. Dana says:

I received a sample of the cream for curly hair from an order with Sephora. I loved it so much that I immediately ordered the JUMBO size, and a bottle of shampoo. When I my order came there was also a sample of the conditioner. It is the best conditioner I have ever used! I can’t believe how my hair feels after using it just one time! And, it smells so good. Now I have to order again!

  6. Rachel says:

Wayyyyyyyyyyyy over priced. Soon the market will be saturated with other brands that find ways to cut the cost which shouldn’t be long now.

  7. Shelia says:

I just wanted to say ” I love the shampoo and conditioner” I tried it for the first time today.
The shampoo has amazing lather, and when I rinsed the conditioner off my hair, it was the softest my hair had ever felt.
I dried my hair and applied the No Frizz straight making spray and the straight making cream.
I can not say enough about your wonderful product, it is a real life changer, I don’t struggle with my frizz crazed hair anymore. When I want to run errands or go to work I don’t need to spend all the time I have spent in the past just to dare and go out into the public, I even use little to no hair sray anymore, it doesnt seem to be necessary.
I love your product and am so thankful some one came up with something that actually works. Thanks guy’s!

  8. The Living Proof Team says:

Hi Jacques, Thank you for your interest in Living Proof. At this time, our products are only available at Sephora, on QVC and right here at Livingproof.com.

  9. Hello Rob..I have been styling hair for 27 years and would love to try your product on some of my clients .
Can i get your products from a professional beauty supply?
    Thank You

  10. Luke says:

I really wish I could try these. I just can’t afford to spend that much on that little. I had a hard enough time spending that price for twice as much Biolage. Maybe when I’m not a poor college student anymore…

  11. robrobceo says:

Lisa, absolutely. No Frizz Shampoo is sulfate free so it is super gentle for color treated hair. And wait until you see the later! Let us know if you have any other questions. Rob CEO

  12. Lisa says:

How is the shampoo for color treated hair? I’ve been told to only use those specifically for preserving color… yet still have to deal with frizzies

  13. Patti says:

I’ve been using the shampoo & conditioner for a month now. I have mildly frizzy hair enhanced by the humidity in the deep South. I use smaller amounts of the No Frizz shampoo & conditioner than I did with other brands. After applying and rinsing out the conditioner, I can tell an immediate difference… my hair feels sooo silky even while still wet! I still use the straightening spray/cream (depending on the weather) but in smaller amounts. For me the shampoo and conditioner are like liquid gold!! I won’t be using any of my old products. Thanks so much for great technology and products!!

  14. Jennifer Rogers says:

I’ve been using the shampoo and conditioner for about three weeks, and i have to say I am disappointed. They do not seem to help with frizz at all and in fact I have found my hair drier than usual, and I have do not normally have dry hair. I have had great success with the straight-making products, and some success with the curl-waving (my hair is right in-between), but I would not buy the shampoo and conditioner again.

  15. robrobceo says:

Diane, we are SO happy you’re happy! Thanks for letting us know.

    Rob, CEO

  16. Diane Wright says:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the full system. I have always been what we like to say a shampoo and conditioner junkie. I have tried them all I never actually buy a second bottle of the same thing. This I will be requesting a life’s supply of I love the suds, I love the way my color looks after use, I love that I go 5 days in between my washing now and I definitely have been using less of my No Frizz wave making cream and I am thrilled about that. I am mid 50’s right now and my hair has been giving me a complex :( Since I have started using Living Proof not only am I more confident but I actually get compliments!!!!!!!!!!! This is a first I am an avid life supporter of Living Proof. Thank you

  17. Alison says:

Hi there. I specifically brought my No-Frizz shampoo and conditioner with me on my trip to Japan recently because I figured if it could stand up to Japan’s heat and humidity, THAT would be amazing. Unfortunately, I didn’t find that that was the case, but in No-Frizz’s defense, I forgot to bring my No-Frizz straightening serum/post conditioner stuff with me, so perhaps with all three it would have held up better. In any case, I do like it for typical New England humidity, so keep up the good work!

  18. Angela Parish says:

This is in response to Jennifer’s post on Aug. 9- try being an UNEMPLOYED scientist! :( Sorry to digress but just wanted her to know that it could be worse! :)

  19. Jennifer says:

As an MIT graduate myself, I of course had to support an MIT spin-off such as Living Proof, especially since it is making a product that I desperately need to control my wild, naturally curly, easy-frizzing hair!! I’m currently using the No Frizz Styling Treatment for Thick/Coarse hair and I love it. It really does keep things under control, even on rainy days or after a super-sweaty Ashtanga yoga class in the North Carolina humidity.

I will try the shampoo and conditioner as soon as I possibly can – I would love to try them right now, but as you guys must understand, scientists working in the academic sector don’t always get paid very much (unless of course we have a great idea and can create a company like you did!) and I can’t really afford to pay almost $50 for the shampoo/conditioner duo AND $24 for the treatment. Yikes! Better start saving up my money, huh?

  20. Barbara C says:

I absolutely Love your new shampoo and conditioner and I am so amazed at how little you need to use to get such great results. I originally received a sample from Sephora. After using for over 2 weeks I immediately went to your web site to see if I could buy this product in larger quantity. I purchased and again I am so happy. I live in Florida where there is high humidity and my hair is no longer frizzy. I cannot believe this. Also my hair feels so soft. I love these products so much and will continue to purchase and recommend to everyone. I am going to go to your web site to see what other great products I can buy! Thank you for producing such great products

  21. Angela Parish says:

Tried the shampoo and LOVE it (I don’t really like the styling products however). Will try the conditioner when I finally get it.

Question, does your leave-in conditioner have a sunscreen in it?? If not, that would be great if it did!

  22. Sherie Cook says:

Your products are great! I have been using the new shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks now, and at first I didn’t think they were any different than other salon quality products. Until I used my old products. WOW, definitely less frizz with your products, also my naturally curly hair stays straighter longer with the No Fizz combination of products. Keep researching. How about a deep conditioner next?

  23. The Living Proof Team says:

Hi Erie – it’s unclear why your hair is reacting this way 25% of the time. I would recommend adding a leave-in to your routine on the days your hair reacts this way. Also, pay close attention to your day/routine the days you don’t get the right results (ie it may be the weather, it may be the time you spend on the blow out, etc.)

As for your other question – the formulas are made to regulate the moisture flux in and out of the hair shaft, not stop moisture from penetrating entirely. The No Frizz should provide optimum moisture levels for you hair. Having said that, your hair may be naturally dryer and therefore require a leave-in or deep conditioner. If you continue to have problems – please call us at 1-866-240-9933.

  24. loretta jones says:

BTW — this is a repeat of my post on another entry… earlier I put it in the wrong place by mistake – sorry!

First, I definitely think these products do what they say and that’s good!

What I learned was that since the conditioner doesn’t add any weight to my hair that I was getting a significant amount of shrinkage. So my hair was frizz free, and the shrinkage was noticeable especially when I used the conditioner as a leave in a couple times. So who knew that I would actually like some bit of product weight on my hair !!:>) So ironically when I purchased the duo I was more interested in the conditioner than the shampoo. Now, after using the products for over a week, I like the shampoo better and not the conditioner due to the shrinkage issue.

Some good points on the products:

Conditioner has great slip — when I’m in the shower the comb glides through my hair
Don’t need to use much of either product which is great since they are pricey
It seems that I get better performance from my other styling products (leave in, gel etc) when I use the shampoo. This could be my imagination, so I’ll keep on using them to see if this continues to be the case

So now my routine is: Living Proof Shampoo, leave in conditioner, no frizz curl defining for thick coarse hair and gel. (BTW – I’m a big fan of the styling products – have been using them for months!) With the shampoo at this point I would say I’ve taken the first few steps to becoming a fan but I probably need to finish the bottle and get more experience before I say that I absolutely love it.

BTW — I notice that Sephora is carrying a leave in conditioner which seems to be a separate product from the shampoo and conditioner. I’ll probably give this a shot and see if I still have the shrinkage issues with the leave in conditioner. Anyone tried the leave in? It has emulsifying wax so that may alleviate my shrinkage issue.

  25. Erie says:

I’ve been using the cream for a couple of months now and find that 3 out of 4 times I get it right and my hair is wonderful in texture and shape– and 1 time out of 4 it is dry and crispy feeling. Cannot for the life of me figure out why the results are not consistent because I always use the same routine and products.

I’ve tried the shampoo and conditioner twice and like the lather, consistency, usability etc but…

Please explain why all types of hair wouldn’t eventually become dry and lifeless with the addition of a shampoo and conditioner to the creams based on the concept that… If the products work by coating the hair and making it moisture impermeable, and they work as well as we think they do, we will be locking out more moisture than the hair can tolerate. Thus the crispiness.

I’m wondering whether this is why my hair seems so dry at times.

  26. DJay says:

I was a very early user (prototype tubes) and love the cream..have pushed it to several friends and family..but.. I can not say the same for the shampoo and conditioner. While I do not want “frizz” it also gets rid of my curls/waves in my hair. It feels silky..but a bit lifeless. Yes I am frizz free..but I don’t lust after straight hair…I LOVE my waves and curls. Sorry..but I will just stick with the cream…and will continue to tout its powers!

  27. Judy says:

So glad that you added shampoo/conditioner to your product line..it really enhances the effect of the cream which I also use…I have shoulder length, coarse, streaked hair and have tried everything to control “the frizzies”…your products have finally accomplished this for me…how about working on a finishing cream for touchup emergencies between shampoos?? Thanks again for creating such great products..

  28. MJean says:

I just purchased the $14 size cream at Sephora and used it last nite on my VERY thick, curly, coarse, color treated, dry, damaged, shoulder length hair. At first I thought it would leave my hair sticky and the smell was not pleasant (need to work on that smell). But I blew dry my hair and WOW! Smooth, shiny, soft, unsticky!! I did NOT need to go over my hair with the flat iron. I am in HUMID North Carolina, it rained last nite and my hair looks great this morning
    - NO FRIZZ! I will definately use this again, and purchase the spray for any spots that I miss with the cream (these show up during the blow out).

  29. Ellen says:

Since I started using it, I’ve been bringing my no frizz styling treatment with me whenever I get a haircut. I walk into the salon with my little bag of goodies. Last week I brought my new shampoo and conditioner for my stylist to use on my hair. She was amazed at how rich it was,how well the shampoo lathered, and how little was needed of both the shampoo and conditioner. She also liked that it was sulfate free. But the real praise came after the cut and blow dry. She said my hair didn’t seem dry at all (which it used to be), it was easier and quicker to style, and it looked great. So now you have an endorsement from a professional in addition to an extremely satisfied customer.

  30. Laurie says:

I have been using the no-frizz styling products for several months and in addition to the wonderful fragrance, when I have taken the time to blow dry my hair when using them, my hair has looked especially great! Also, not only is the frizz controlled, but it really doesn’t get as dirty as quickly.
Now I also use the shampoo and conditioner and my hair additionally feels smooth to the touch (it was a bit stiff/dry before), isn’t frizzy, stays clean beyond any reasonable expectation, and I don’t even have to blow dry!!!
Can you work on a anti-wrinkle product for skin now?!!?

  31. Suziru says:

I’ve used the shampoo and conditioner three times, and have been getting a lot of compliments. And, when I look in the mirror expecting to need to tame my hair down, I feel like the Fonz with his comb – how can I improve on perfection?
The really impressive thing to me is – I’ve been so busy lately, I haven’t even taken the time to blow-dry my hair; let alone apply the styling cream and flat-iron it in. So, with air-dried, un-styled hair; which would usually look like a brillo pad on top of my head, I actually look A LOT better than I ever did styling with tons of other products! And NOT JUST DAY 1 either! It has been taking about 4 days for it to START poofing out again. Imagine how stylin I’d look if I had blown it dry and used the cream! In the humid south, this is impressive! Love the products – not wild about the expense. But, I’ve cut way back on the amount of shampoo and conditioner I would normally use, and it still worked just beautifully.

  32. Laurence says:

It is 98 degrees no air conditioning. Heavy heat humid but not NY humid yet.
The products are nice not heavy-nice smell.
I find that the shampoo makes you hair very dry almost like hard paper.
The conditioner is creamy same consistency as the anti frizz product may be not nourishing enough.

I used the fabulous anti-frizz cream and the spray to blow dry my hair. It worked well considering the weather but I had to add some kind of oil spay to soften and make my hair shine a bit otherwise it would have looked too stiff without enough life.

Therefore I will use the shampoo and conditioner but not every time. Most probably every other time. The FF shampoo and conditioner are much better and much richer in texture and feels better.as well.

This living proof product is great to take out frizz but you want hair that feels smooth when you touch it.

    Hope it helps.

  33. Stacy says:

Thanks for creating a great product. I love the way my hair feels when it is dry. I have used many products that weight the hair down and I don’t find it with these products. I feel the price is high for hair products even though I have spent more in the past and have thrown them product away. Please consider lowering the price to make it more affordable. Thanks

  34. jean says:

I have been using no-frizz styling products for a few months and am
very pleased with the results. I recently purchased the shampoo and
conditioner and am also happy with both.

I have very dry, naturally curly hair that frizzes in humid weather, and in New York that’s most of the summer. The wave shaping treatment for very coarse hair is particularly good for me. I will continue to use these products.

  35. Karen says:

I thought the shampoo and conditioner were good and left my hair feeling nice and soft — but still — way overpriced. Here in NY the humidity in the warmer weather is often 85% or higher. In that kind of humidity my hair stilled frizzed, but less than it would without these products. I think $50 is a ridiculous amount to spend for a bottle of shampoo and conditioner, esp. in light of today’s economic climate. Last, I am wondering if these products are tested on animals, as the packaging does not mention this at all. Rob, please advise.

  36. Rita says:

I live in the deep south where high humidity is a way of life. I have tried EVERY product invented that promises to control the frizz. NOTHING worked until now. The Living Proof products (shampoo, conditioner, straight spray) actually deliver on their claim. Finally, truth in advertising! The products do exactly what they say and make living in the south a whole new experience. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

  37. Jan says:

Shampoo and conditioner are great. The bottle is to small for the price. I try to use sparingly. The smell reminds me of bug spray. But I like what it does to my hair which is very course and frizzy. It does make it smooth. I give it a 4 out of 5. I also will buy mor.

  38. Debbie says:

I have fine, frizzy, wavy hair that is colored and dry. I am now using the shampoo, conditioner, and wave cream to try to get straighter hair. I also have the no frizz straight cream, but I read that you can use the wave cream to straighten also.
So far, the results have been fair. It was a little humid the other day, and my hair still got quite frizzy.
I’m going to use the products for the next few weeks then I’ll repost after my final decision.

  39. Nina says:

Hi! I purchased the no friz styling treatment for thick to coarse hair today. I saw that MIT developed it and said hmmm I have to give this a try. I live in humid south Florida and when I say humid I mean it. I just relocated and each time I leave the house with straight bangs or straight hair…I can expect it to get extremely curly within minutes of heading out the door NO MATTER what I put in my hair and I’ve used most of the no frizz products out there. Before heading out today, a hot humid and rainy night, I decided to wash my hair and use the no frizz styling treatment alone…i have not purchased the shampoo and conditioner yet…I forgot I had put it in my hair and hours later fully expecting my bangs to be out of control (rest of my hair was up in a pony tail) to my surprise the hair was still as it was when I left my home early that evening. Despite all of the humidity my bangs were still straight…YIPEE!!! Does it work…it sure does…expensive…yes a bit…will you be happy…yes…try it!!! I don’t work for the company..

  40. Laura Dillon says:

I tried the new shampoo and conditioner… Not too impressed. It was expensive, made my hair very flat. I’m in Florida so I can live with a little frizz but it was too flat to even hold much of a curl. My other complaint is about the reduction is product from the old packaging to the new. I previously used the “frizz solution with control” (f/m) but then was directed by the website Q and A to” wave shaping curl defining styling spray.” I like it… but for the same price you get less product. I’m curious to know the difference in product b/c they seem to be the same thing. I will continue to use the spray and recommend to anybody who will listen :) but the shampoo and conditioner are not for me.

  41. Carol says:

I tried the no frizz solution cream for medium to thick hair. It is awesome!!!!

  42. rebecca t. says:

I don’t have very frizzy hair to begin with but I do have very oily hair that I used to wash every single day. Ever since I started using No Frizz, I have gone from washing everyday to every other day and now I can go 3 days and my hair still looks good on the fourth day!! Amazing!! I noticed that with the shampoo and conditioner, I don’t have to use as much No Frizz cream as before. Even though I have straight hair, I use the wave No Frizz because it gives me more body. My hair has been thinning lately and it helps to make me look like I have a lot more hair. Thanks!! And please please please make it more affordable!!

  43. sbtkd says:

love the ‘poo and conditioner. even with the high humidity, my hair retained it’s curl.. but, not the frizz. will probably repurchase, even though it’s pretty expensive for the amount.

  44. Diane Simmons says:

I can’t believe how silky my hair feels after using the shampoo and conditioner, even when I don’t bother to blow dry! I’m a BIG FAN!!It’s almost like someone transplanted a new head of hair on me! Those scientists deserve a big bonus!!!
I would love larger containers though!

  45. Gilia says:

Great products! I have used the shampoo &conditioner a couple of times now and they are they best I’ve used for my type of hair (curly, dry, color-treated). I can let my hair dry naturally (curly) or blow it straight and either way my hair has never had more shine. Thank you for these wonderful products!

  46. Dana says:

The shampoo and conditioner are amazing. I have thick curly hair, but the shampoo has been wonderful to control it when blow drying and straightening. Thank you! I have used your other products, but found the shampoo and conditioner to work much better. I will buy more when this runs out.

    Thank you.

  47. Michelle Peterek says:

I love all of your products! My friends say that my hair looks thicker and fuller since I have been using them. Also, I can now skip a day and it still looks fresh as the day before. Thank you again for developing these wonderful products!

    Michelle

  48. Maureen Herrmann says:

I’ve been using the straightening and wave making treatments since late April, and I love them both. My only concern is that with my medium length, thick/coarse/wavy hair, I have to use ALOT of product, and that’s disappointing in terms of cost. I’ve got to admit, I love the product fragrance.

I just purchased the shampoo and conditioner and I do like it very much (fragrance is also great). It’s hard to say, though, whether the shampoo/conditioner makes a big difference since I’m still using it in conjunction with treatment product. The conditioner, though, makes my hair so smooth, I have wondered (as has my daughter) whether that might be sufficient and save me from having to use additional treatment. I haven’t given this a try yet (I might do it over the weekend so I don’t have to worry about how my hair will look in the office) but I think I may have more success with this option when the weather is dry. Once I’ve used a whole bottle of shampoo and conditioner, I’ll report back on my overall results.

One concern I have about packaging…since I need to use a fair amount of product, I’d rather save money on packaging and devote more of the cost to pure product. Are you looking into ways to reduce packaging costs? I know a pretty package is a big part of marketing/branding, but I’d rather have alot of a great product in a nondescript bottle than a ritzy bottle with little product.

Bottom line: shampoo and conditioner seems good/get the lab to work on a formula for the treatment which won’t require I use so much/reduce packaging costs so I’m able to afford more product.

  49. Christy says:

Hey there. I used the shampoo, conditioner, and straight making treatment for thick to coarse hair. My hair is down to my butt and out of control.

I also suffer from psoriasis on the scalp. Nothing has worked. Medicated shampoos, nothing. I am on my 6th day of not washing and it JUST now looks gross. The dirt and oil repellent in your product has staved off my psoriasis, since oil from the scalp agitates it. My hair was SILKY, LONG AND STRAIGHT FOR 5 DAYS IN THE SUMMER! This leaves my hair feeling and looking the BEST in decades of many products. BEST PRODUCT EVER!!

  50. The Living Proof Team says:

Hi Barbara – It may be that you’re used to a heavier silicone based conditioner that smooths your ends by weighing down the cuticle. What we recommend is to apply leave-in conditioner to your ends after shampooing and conditioning and before adding the No Frizz Straight Cream. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

  51. The Living Proof Team says:

    Hi Ina,

Please call us at 1-866-240-9933 for a full refund. We’re sorry to hear about your poor experience with the products. It could be a matter of your usage or other products you’re using in your hair. We’d be more than happy to talk to you about it further when you call in.

  52. Elissa Dellosso says:

Since first trying the No Frizz I’ve been shouting my praise from the rooftops! I was born with frizzy , wavy, curly fine hair. Other products either weighed my hair down, made it greasy or stiff. I have been outside in heat and humidity and even rain (under an umbrella)since using Living Proof No Frizz and my hair has stayed soft, shiny and STRAIGHT with body galore. I ordered the shampoo and conditioner as soon as it was available and it’s good in conjunction with the No Frizz creme. Although it’s all a bit expensive, it’s worth it to me. Today I had my haircut and was able to get a straight style for the first time in my 56 yrs and not worry about it curling up or frizzing!

Also, although the bottles are small for the price, I find I have to use VERY LITTLE of each product.

  53. Ina says:

My hair is dryer and more brittle than ever. It still frizzes and curls..and is hard to blow dry as it “gunks up” and tangles in the round brush. I’d like to return all: shampoo, conditioner and styling cream.

  54. I tried the shampoo and conditioner once but it did not agree with my hair – my ends became brittle feeling-but i did love the straightening cream. Maybe it is just my hair-i do color it and my ends are very frizzy.

  55. Diane Woodside says:

    Dear Rob,
I just use the shampoo and conditioner. I love it!!!!
I leave some of the condioner on and I can use a less no frizz product.
I now have an option of flat iron. I live in Nevada, not so much humidity. The big test will be Italy. I will be there the end of july.
I neaver thought I would live to see the day I would be frizz free!!!
    God Bless you all
    Diane Woodside

  56. Ellen says:

You already know I think you guys deserve awards for the No Frizz styling cream. I was really on the fence about trying the shampoo and conditioner because of the steep price. I gave in, though, and have used it twice. It’s amazing. I played tennis twice in the Florida heat and humidity after using the products. Yes, I was drenched after playing. When my hair dried, amazingly, it was not curly, it was not fuzzy, it was not frizzy. So my seemingly expensive purchase was worth it. I’d love to see a promotion occasionally, perhaps with larger sizes of the different products, with some value pricing.
And, by the way, can you do for my shower doors what you do for my hair??

  57. The Living Proof Team says:

Hi Carrie – you could consider using the Wave/Curl No Frizz styling Cream with your shampoo & conditioner to add back some of the texture you’re lacking when you use the system with your Straight Cream. Just a suggestion.

  58. Paula says:

Very disappointed. My hair is very dry and coarse and had to use 3/4 of the bottle and it looked and felt worse than before. Can I get my money back?

  59. beth gilbert says:

I just purchased the shampoo and cond.
    It is unreal
my hair is so silky – NO frizz
    and smells great
    thank you for developing this

I am enjoying the shampoo and conditioner, but felt my scalp was a bit dry. I used the shampoo and conditioner and the wave shaping, curl defining cream then had a massage and sat in the steam room for about 20 minutes and I have to say, remarkably, that my hair was still looking presentable. There was just a slight patch of frizz, but later that day it seems to have “calmed down” and looked good enough for me to go out without re-washing it!

Humidity has been at top levels these last few days at Boston (and somehow in my air-conditioned office, too!). My fine, curly/frizzy hair will never be completely smooth, I’m afraid, but I used the new shampoo/conditioner AND the treatment for course/thick hair AND the flat iron and I have not yet resorted to pulling my hair back and slapping on the hairband today! This is all to say that I do think the new stuff is more effective at keeping the frizz down than the zillions of other products I’ve tried!
    Keep up the experimentation!

  62. Kathy says:

The products work GREAT, but the bottles were very small for the price.

  63. Carrie says:

I used the shampoo and conditioner with the no-frizz styling cream and it was almost TOO much straightening, i.e. my hair was flat that day and looked really limp the mext day. I’ve yet to try the shampoo and conditioner by themselves, but I’m thinking that will probably be sufficient for frizz-control. All three may have been overkill, at least for my hair!

  64. Cintia says:

Wow! Thanks Rob for the super quick response to my email. It is a big plus for me that the shampo has NO SALT either. I have ethinic, thick, coarse, dry, frizzy and all of that comes in a LOT of hair. I’ve always had a hard time finding something that would block humidity and tame it. I can’t wait for my order and givr it a try.

  65. Jennie says:

I’m soooooo disappointed that your new shampoo and conditioner contains wheat protein! I’m allergic to wheat, and MY allergist said not to use ANY beauty products with wheat. Why do so many high end hair products contain wheat protein?!

  66. GwenNYC says:

Hey, Rob! I’ve been using the Shampoo & Conditioner a little over a week now … UH-mazing!!! I could not be more obsessed with how luxurious the foaming action of the shampoo is, and how the conditioner makes my hair so unbelievably smooth! Did I say amazing?! Many thanks to you, and the Living Proof team that created the formulas! ~G

Loretta, can’t wait to hear what you think. The product was designed as a rinse out conditioner, but I always tell people to play around and see what you think. Let us know. Rob, CEO

I just ordered the shampoo and conditioner so I’ll let you know what I think of it. Quick question, can I use the conditioner as a leave in?

    Thanks

Joanne, Sephora will be launching very soon, so you Canadians can get your hands on it before you know it.

    Hi Rob:

Might I assume that the shampoo and conditioner is available in Sephora so I can get it for a great try in Canada?????
