Living Proof No Frizz has been lauded by critics for its silicone-free, frizzy hair defeating formula but now it’s being recognized for its sleek and stylish packaging as well. The nominees for the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2010 have been released and No Frizz is nominated in the Best Grooming Product category!
Wallpaper* is a magazine and website that focuses on travel, design, entertainment, fashion, and media. The winners won’t be announced until Thursday, January 14th but we’re already brimming with excitement on just being nominated. There are five nominees each in their respective categories and they will be reviewed by a panel of international judges all coming from different areas in the arts and entertainment world. Some of the judges for this year’s awards range from John Galliano, creative director of Christian Dior to Pedro Almodóvar, the world-renowned Spanish film director.
Wallpaper* praises Living Proof No Frizz’s “no-frill bottles” for their “simple grey and white vessels” which “make their frizz-control intentions clear from the start.” The bottles were designed by brand consultants Wolff Olins.
The other nominees in the Best Grooming category are ‘Faceman’ trimming kit by Haruo Hasegawa for Maruto Hasegawa Kosakujo, Make-up by Illamasqua, Nutritional supplements by Functionalab, and Organic fragrances by Honoré des Prés.
Last year’s winner was Guerlain’s Le 2 Mascara. The other nominees were New Zealand’s Huni Skincare, Intelligent Nutrients Skincare, NARS make-up brushes, and ByRedo Fragrances.
Congrats on the nomination! I love the packaging of No Frizz products because the bottles stand firmly on either end. This lets me get every wonderful last drop of product out of the bottles.
