Developing the Best Product for the Best Hair

untitledI am Maria Moga, a formulation Chemist in the Living Proof Product Development group, and today I will take you behind the scenes in our lab!

Our products go through rigorous testing in order to ensure the best quality for our customers. Product development chemists call these tests “stability testing.” Admittedly, stability testing is one of the less glamorous parts of the job but it must be done to guarantee we deliver only quality products to our customers.

Stability testing is critical in selecting the formula you see in stores or purchase off our website. Once a final formulation is selected it is tested at several varying temperate conditions before we can give it the final stamp of approval. The product is placed in hot and cold temperatures—it must freeze then thaw several times, and cycle from hot, room temperature, and cold temperature without affecting any of its qualities. At the end of these tests the product must look and feel exactly as it did when it started.

What does this mean for you? This means that any of the products you purchase from Living Proof will perform and feel the same way it does in Alaska as it does in Texas. You can drive from where we are located in frosty Cambridge, MA to the Mojave Desert in California and your No Frizz product will look, feel, and perform exactly the same! So enjoy…in any weather….

Proof is in the pudding. Do you have a sample to send me? If I think it is all you say I’d be happy to buy some and spread the word to my friends.
